Water Sports on and in the Water

Harderwold Villa Resort is located near Harderwijk, across from Lake Veluwe, and all villas are situated on the water. For water enthusiasts, this is a true paradise! There are many water sports activities to enjoy, both in the surrounding area and right from your own villa. Think swimming, parasailing, water skiing, sailing, rowing, surfing, or try the latest trend on the water: “stand-up paddleboarding” (SUP). At Sup&Go in Harderwijk, you can rent a SUP board, take lessons, or join various tours (TIP: Sunset tour) on the water. This way, you’ll see Harderwijk from a different perspective.

Horst Beach is about a 15-minute drive from the Harderwold Villa Resort, where you can choose from a variety of water sports activities. TIP! After all that activity, relax at Telstar Surfclub, where you can enjoy a healthy lunch and/or an ice-cold drink! No experience on the water? Take lessons! At Telstar Surfclub, you can sign up for kitesurfing and windsurfing. Already an advanced surfer? The experienced instructors can help you take your skills to the next level with a private lesson!

Finally, you can rent a boat through B&B Boat Rental. That way, you can easily board from your own private dock behind your villa and set out onto Lake Veluwe! For fishing enthusiasts: don’t forget your fishing rod.
