This way, you can enjoy a stay with the whole family in luxury accommodations—suitable for up to 16 people—at our resort on Lake Veluwe. Explore the scenic surroundings together and visit nearby towns and villages, such as Nunspeet, Putten and Harderwijk.

Relax in a luxury vacation home with your dog

After a day full of adventure, you can unwind in one of our luxurious and stylish villas with your dog. Our pet-friendly vacation villas are fully furnished and feature comfortable beds, a cozy sitting area, and a fully equipped kitchen. They also feature an outdoor terrace with a lounge set. Some properties have a fenced-in yard so your dog can play safely outside. For even more relaxation, choose a vacation villa with a private spa. At our dog-friendly vacation park, two pets are allowed per accommodation.

Plenty to Do with Your Dog

Our vacation park is the ideal base for a luxurious vacation with your dog. The scenic surroundings offer numerous hiking and biking trails through the forests and along the beaches of Lake Veluwe, including several off-leash areas where your dog can play freely. You can also explore nearby towns Biddinghuizen and Harderwijk, where you can stroll through the charming town centers and enjoy fresh seafood dishes at one of the waterfront terraces. At the park, enjoy the beautiful view while sipping a cup of coffee at Brasserie Harderwold, or try to hit a hole-in-one on the adjacent golf course.

Our recommendations for off-leash areas:

    Strokelbos (9.5 km)

    A diverse forest area with three marked hiking trails (5, 7.5, and 9 km). The 5-km trail is a completely off-leash area.

    Erkemederstrand (6 km)

    A 1.5-kilometer-long dog beach where dogs are allowed to run off-leash and swim year-round. 

    Groevenbeekse Heide (15 km)

    A heathland area surrounded by forest, offering plenty of hiking opportunities.

What other guests with dogs asked us:

✤ Do I have to pay extra for my pet?

Yes, there is an additional charge of €15 per pet per night for bringing a pet. Most accommodations allow a maximum of 2 dogs. Group accommodations allow a maximum of 3 or 4 dogs.

✤ Is my dog allowed in the brasserie?

Yes, your dog is also welcome at Brasserie Harderwold. So you can both relax after a long walk while enjoying a cup of coffee and a bowl of water.
