An Adventure in the Oostvaardersplassen

The Oostvaardersplassen is a unique and rugged nature reserve in the Netherlands. There is no other area like the Oostvaardersplassen anywhere in Europe. The area consists of a large marshland with rugged grasslands, reed beds, and natural ponds. The area is also teeming with a wide variety of animals: from geese and cormorants to roe deer and foxes. You’ll also find sea eagles, Konik horses, and cattle. For birdwatchers, it’s a true paradise.
